Trust in Danish
In this CPH POST “Get Your Biering’s”-column I talk about the mostly-good-weirdness of the Danish version of trust. In our research project #onboarddenmark ‘trust’ is one of the six main traits of Danishness at the workplace we try to dissect for internationals. And seek to highlight to Danish companies.
It is useful if we become more aware of how different we Danes behave at work compared to … basically the rest of the world, apart from a couple of other Northern European countries (and even in this group we can be rather 'special'). It helps the internationals, and it it helps us when we want to work with non-Danes. The other five traits are: communication, hierarchy, equality, humor and networking.
